Quite a strong, but compact storm producing an impressive light show and some rain to match.
4th December 2008 Details
Another hot day with northerly winds turning south easterly in the afternoon triggering more storms, this time coming from the west. As with the previous day, these storm were an impressive sound and light show but only produced a small amount of rain.
3rd December 2008 Details
Intense lightning activity from storms moving up from the south of Brisbane and up to Fraser Island. Once again an impressive sound and light show but not a huge amount of rain or high winds.
19th - 20th November 2008 Details
More storm fronts move from the south west to north east with intense lightning activity, but not a huge amount of rain or high winds. These storms ran continuously for two days.
16th November 2008 Details
Following a hot day a southerly change came through and a major thunder storm moved from the south to the north with record breaking rain, strong damaging winds and over one thousand strikes of lightning recorded in one minute.
